The planned rollout of rapid mass testing and effective vaccines locally give us greater hope for the months ahead. But there’s no question that 2020 has been a challenging year and it’s vital for us all to go on playing our part in tackling coronavirus.
In these unprecedented times, we are particularly grateful to our NHS and key workers and I would like to thank them on behalf of local residents for all that they have done and continue to do to save lives, and keep us safe and well.
May I take this opportunity to wish you and your family a very happy and safe Christmas, and a better and brighter new year.
