David Rutley MP has teamed up with Macclesfield College to host Macclesfield’s biggest ever Apprenticeships and Jobs Fair.
The Macclesfield Apprenticeships and Jobs Fair will be held at Macclesfield College on Thursday, 24th May between 12 and 6pm.
Local businesses have responded enthusiastically to support local people in their job searches, with over 30 firms, including Siemens, Flybe and Allied Health Care, signing up for the Fair. At least 80 jobs will be available and more than 80 apprenticeships will be on offer to visitors on the day, making this the place to be if you are looking for work.
The College, which has recently been recognised as outstanding for its apprenticeship provision by Ofsted, will also be offering workshops to help applicants write an excellent CV.
The Macclesfield Apprenticeships and Jobs Fair is free of charge to attend and is open to anyone aged over 16.
There is still time for employers with jobs and apprenticeships on offer to sign up for a place at the Fair. Anyone interested in doing so should contact Quolanta Arnold at the East Cheshire Business School, Macclesfield College on 01625 410 022
Liz Gorb, Head of the East Cheshire Business School at Macclesfield College, said: “The College is looking forward to welcoming jobseekers to the Macclesfield Apprenticeships and Jobs Fair.
