Coronavirus Update

We are all very grateful for the fantastic work of local medical teams in rolling out the coronavirus vaccine in our area. Thanks to all the work that local doctors, nurses and support staff are doing, all those in the first four priority groups, including the over 70s and the most clinically vulnerable in our community, will be vaccinated by the mid-February target.

All our committed local volunteers are playing a vital role in the vaccine roll out – helping with ushering and supporting patients during their visit. It’s vital that we all receive the vaccine when it’s our turn. It’s a clear priority, as the vaccine gives us hope and will help navigate a route back to more normal times.
